Turkish in Armenian letters
On 26 October 2026, 51 of the catalogue's Armenian records list Armeno-Turkish among their languages: Turkish written in the Armenian alphabet, for readers who spoke Turkish and read Armenian letters. Their titles are in Armenian script but often not in the Armenian language, which is exactly the case a search across scripts has to be told about.
These come from the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul, the Catholicosate of Cilicia, Our Lady of Bzummār and the Pontificio Collegio Armeno.
